Provided nevertheless, that the said [blank space]
before he shall receive any Money as aforesaid shall enter into
Bond with good and sufficient Security to his Majesty his Heirs
and Successors in the sum of [blank space]
Sterling with Condition that he will remit such sum & Sums
of Money as he shall from Time to Time receive by Virtue of
the Powers hereby given him, according to the Directions of this
Act, and such advice as he shall receive from the said Committee
which Bond he shall previous to receiving any such Money
lodge with such Person in London as the said Committee shall
appoint to receive the same. And in Case of a Breach of [torn]
Condition thereof the same shall by Direction of the Assembly
be put in suit and the Damages recovered thereon applied
towards sinking the Bills of Credit by this Act to be emitted
and not otherwise.

Provided always, that the said [blank space]
shall and may retain in his hands so much
of the said Money as shall be Sufficient to defray the Char
=ges of Insurance and Freight, that shall accrue upon [torn]
=miting the said Money to the Public Treasurers of this Province
Which Insurance the said [blank space]
hereby impowered and required to make before the same be they [torn]
=ped or remitted to the said Treasurers, and also to Contract
for the Freight thereof.

And be it further enacted by the authority afor[torn]
=said, that the said Money when received and remited as afor[torn]
=said shall be placed in the Public Treasury, that is to say
one half thereof with the Treasurer of the Northern District, &
the other half with the Treasurer of the Southern District of
this Province, and shall be and is hereby appointed & Sub
=stituted a [Friend?] for Paying and redeeming the aforesaid
Public Bills of Credit in Manner herein before mentioned
