Dear Miss Stevens: If it is at all possible, I would appreciate receiving about six more copies of the leaflet and letter pertaining to the Laboratory Animals Bill, S.3570.

A friend of mine to whom I showed my copy of same, wrote a very good letter and then mimeographed it. She made a considerable number of copies and has been successful in having a number of people sign them. She has found in the past that although a person may be sympathetic with a cause, writing a letter is another thing. If it is not done immediately, it may never be written. So, she makes sure that they address and sign a letter. I am wondering if this would make any difference in effectiveness. If a great number of letters are received signed by different people but which are identical in content will they be given the same consideration. Of course, with thousands of letters which I am sure the Senators will receive, I'm sure the letters which are identical will go unnoticed. Still, I'm so concerend about this Bill, I want every letter to count. I can do the same as she, but I want to be sure. Any advice on this would be appreciated.
