TWO WEEKS AS A CIVILIAN
Dec. 30/1945
Dear Mrs. Rundle:
Please accept my sincere thanks for the delicious box of chocolates sent to me by the W.A.F.A. Needless to say they were very much apprec iated.
You know, we have basic control, flood control, heat control, etc. my specialty at the

moment is going to be "bulge" control. (Mrs. Lewis's idea of course). As a matter of fact I'm in rather an awkward position as I told Marion when we were married that I would throw her out if she ever went over 150lbs. Marion is safe so far of course but I have noticed her eyeing me and have a pretty fair idea of her thoughts.
Seriously though, your gift was most welcome

and I would like to take this opportunately of extending to the W.A.F.A of Oshawa many sincere wishes for all the best of everything in 1946
Sincerely Ted Lewis
