Went to meeting at EdgeHill to day — Rained hard this evening about night, very angry looking cloud I sent to Mr. Hunts place for [?] to put apples in put up apple mill Halled load rails & 1 load [wood?] - chimney up on branch our field for corn - 8 - Grinding apples from Aspen Grove, shrubing Sally & Richard got back to day — 9th. I went to sho got Bill shod new shoes. I found [unclear] [unclear] old shoes & put one behind, 10th. Sent Robin shod new shoes before old behind Henry getting board to day I went to [unclear] Field today great revival up there meeting been going 2 weeks. One of my sheep gone last night, making 2 thats killed here 11th Working on road to day	August 6 - 11, 1865 1865. August 6th.
