Article 6th If any member be charged with violating
any laws of the Constitution, or shall be found
guilty of disorderly conduct after a proper investigation
before the Standing Committee, he may
be expelled from the Society, by a vote of two thirds
of the members present.

Section 6th

By Laws of the Society

Article 1st
Each meeting shall be opened and closed
with prayer by the President, or some one on
whom he may call.

Article 2nd No person shall become a member of the
Society, unless approved by the Standing Committee
and each person ^at the time of (see a vote of Sept. 23d, 1846)
joining the Society shall pay
into the Treasury, the sum of fifty cents, as
entrance fee: and any person having been honorably dismissed
may again become a member without paying an entrance fee. (see March 19th 1847.

Article 3d No book shall be kept from the Library
for a longer time than two weeks, and any
person retaining a book beyond this period,
shall be fined Six and a quarter cents for every
week this book is thus retained.

Article 4th The time of access to the Library shall
be from 3 o'clock P M 'till 3½ o'clock on Wednesday
of each week
