we do think you would be such a nice
person to have for a godfather, not only
because you were the 'face at the window'
but because you took your hat off so
nicely when we read the Bible out there
on the lawn that Sunday, and also because
you wrote the 'Path of the King.' So do
please say you will! You need not
of course come to the function, which is
at 2.30 on a Saturday afternoon - an
impossible time for such as you. But
we should like to think of you in this rather
special relation to our little Mary-bird.
