My Dear I still keep well and
and feel very thankful to
my maker for it I pray
to God for health and hope I
will keep well You wrote that
you were going to send me some
provisions by John Campbell
we have a good deal of bacon
yet we cant keep it from get
ting scippers and bugs and
worms in it I had rather you
would not send any bacon for
a while we draw some bacon
we get plenty of beef I have
not eat but one mess of beef
since I left home I wish I had
some good peaches and apples
they sell very high down here
and are not very good at that
William Garrison is still sick
in the hospittle he is some better
I think he is the only one we have
in the hospittle at this time
