SUNDAY 6
Slept in until late as there was no work on today. Spent morning in tent playing cards. Dinner finished went up to Cricket Ground, where we watched Tommy sports. After tea played cards and read until supper time.
MONDAY 7
Spent morning writing letters. After dinner went up to sports ground and played cricket until tea time. After tea went down for Somme for swim. Had egg supper prior to turning in. Paid 40 Francs £10 from BK [bank] came through.
