THURSDAY 30
Went up on deck about 7am. Beautiful morning. Took exercise until breakfast. After breakfast went up on boat deck & did some printing. After dinner did washing & had bath. Boat did about 273 knots am afraid that she is not going to reach the 300 mark again. However it wont be long before we are in again.

FRIDAY 31
Rose early, attended Communion a little late, but better late than never; at 10.30am inspection of hammocks & eating utensils finished was being [?] at dinner. After dinner did some printing. V.D. inspection at 2.30pm. Went up on troop deck as Mr Greff wanted to get photo of Groue [?] Wel. [?] M.C.O.S. Played 500 until bedtime.
