[?] came in the afternoon: then I fixed a party for the children in the afternoon, and a little while after it was one, the children went out to play and Ellen fell down and broke her arm. Dr. came to set it.

Cloudy all day with snow then hail and a hard rain after night. Thomas and Mary went home: Uncle Joshua went up with them to take the carriage.

Clear cold and windy: Uncle Joshua came home.

Clear and very mild. Uncle Joshua and Aunt Rachel went to meeting: Isaac and family and George Elliott came over and spent the day.

Clear and windy: I came home, left Pleasant Hill about 7 o'clock, got home at 4 o'clock, called at Uncle Samuels a few minutes: Father met me at Laurel, he went down 1st day, staid all night at [Curtiside?]

Clear day: Emily dined with us. Lucy at Uncle Charlie's to supper. Father at Ingleside in the morning

4th mo. Durborow came in the stage: father took him to Brooke & Pleasants's shop in the afternnon: Anna Stable here awhile in the afternoon. the men at work at Ingleside: I went to see Aunty Sally awhile in the morning.
30th 3d day Clear and widy: father and the young man down at the Annie Hopkins land surveying all day. Lucy came home from Brooke Grove in the afternoon: Emily here to tea the men a Ingleside all day, begun to plant corn there in the afternoon.
