her room Miss Kerr, who has only been
here a little while and is a graduate
of Cornell, and I felt like playing
a joke on some one, so as Mattie and
Edith were not in their room and all
was quiet in the Hall we carried
their mattresses and bedding down
into our room. When they found it
out there was a terrible time. As I
never had played any joke on them and
am not much given to such things any
way, they did not suspect me at all

ading up and down the Hall, and nearly
the whole second floor was with them
trying to find the beds and having
tussles with each other. After a
long while they came down to our
room and then we carried the girls
to their room on the Mattresses. It
was not a very quet time on the whole

owe so many I can't bear to think of
