The fields and hills are
getting so green, the live oaks
evergreeens and Eucalyptus and pepper
trees are pictures in green while
the white oaks with their lichyen
covered trunks and boughs draped in
gray moss and great bunches of mis-
tletoe in them are studies in gray
and olive

The county roads are all
macadamized and so are fine walking
and there are so many pretty country and
summer residences everywhere.

A Catholic cemetary took up
some of our time this morning. On
three graves the white boards at the
head had pictures of the deceased and
one grave had a rosary on it which
Minnie and I wished to steal, but we
did not.

Well I must close with best
love to you all.

Lucy
