7th The main Gaurd to turn out to the second Civil Servant in Council twice a day (viz't once before 9 o clock in the morning & once after five in the afternoon) with rested arms & two ruffles. Officers not to salute. The other as often as he passes before and after the said hours - - 8th To the youngest in Council the main Guard to turn out twice a Day with rested Arms & one ruffle the other Guards as often as he passes - - - 9 The main Guard is to turn out once a Day with shouldered arms to all Colonels & to the Captains of his Majesty's Navy above three years post. being alarmed at the firing-Art.13th Any Centinel that is seen sitting on his post, or quitting it on any pretence whatever will be punished severely for neglect of duty.- - 14th Black People who have a suspicious appearance to be strictly examined at the Gate & if the Officer sees cause, he is to send them to the Captain of the main Guard, who will report it accordingly. The Centries on the Fortifications are to prevent Strangers from walking upon them, unless in Company with an Officer of the Garrison & no black peoples except those employed on the Works are to be allowed to come upon them at any Time or on any pretence what soever. - - 15th The Centries on the Works are to allow Soldiers of the Garrison
