Probate Court in and for said County

In the matter of the Estate of President, Brigham Young decd

Orders appointing Special Administrations

Whereas it is made to appear by the petition of George Q. Cannon, Brigham Young, and Albert Carrington that the said deceased departed this life on the twenty ninth day of August A.D. 1877. at his residence in Salt Lake City in said County

That the said deceased left a will bearing date November fourteenth A.D. 1873 which has this day been presented to this court by the said petitioners with a petition that it may be admitted to probate as the last will and testament of the said deceased

That the property of said estate will be liable to suffer loss and damage before the said will can be admitted to probate and letters testamentary be issued thereon unless some person or persons having authority so to do shall collect and take charge of said estate

It is therefore ordered that the said George Q. Cannon, Brigham Young and Albert Carrington be, and they are hereby appointed special administrators of the said estate, with full power and authority to collect and take charge of the estate

of the said deceased in whatever county or counties the same may be found, and to exercise such other powers as may be necessary in the premises and as are in such cases provided for by law. And that letters as such special administrators be issued to them on their taking and subscribing an oath that they will faithfully perform the duties of special administrators of the Estate of the said deceased according to law Dated September 4 1877 E. IN THE PROBATE COURT, IN AND FOR SALT LAKE COUNTY, TERRITORY OF UTAH.

In the Matter of the Estate of Prest B Young deceased.

Upon reading and filing the petition of George Q. Cannon Brigham Young and Albert Carrington praying for the admission to Probate of a certain document, therewith filed in this Court, purporting to be the last Will and Testament of the said deceased. It is ordered that Saturday the 15 day of Sept A.D. 1877, be and is hereby appointed for the hearing of the proof of the execution of said Will, at 10 o'clock A. M. of that day, at the County Court House in Salt Lake City.

It is further ordered that the Clerk cause due notice thereof to be given by publication in the Deseret Evening News till the day of hearing, a newspaper having general circulation and published in said County and that a Subpoena be issued requiring the subscribing witnesses to said proposed Will to be and appear at the time and place above specified.
