Territory of Utah County of Salt Lake S.S.

George Q. Cannon, Brigham Young and Albert Carrington being first duly sworn, according to law, do each for themselves say, that they are named in the last will and testament of President, Brigham Young, deceased, as the Executors thereof, and that to the best of their knowledge and belief the personal property that was of the said deceased is of the value of about One hundred and twenty six thousand dollars, and that the annual rents, issues and profits of the real estate of the said deceased will amount to twenty-four thousand dollars or thereabouts

Territory of Utah, COUNTY OF SALT LAKE. S.S.

George Q. Cannon, Brigham Young and Albert Carrington Are hereby appointed Executors of the Estate of President Brigham Young deceased, with full power and authority to administer on said Estate and settle up the business thereof according to law, under the direction of the Probate Court for said County or the Judge thereof. By order of said Court.

Witness my hand and seal of said Court hereto affixed this nineteenth day of September A.D. 1877 D. Bockholt Clerk of the Probate Court, Salt Lake County, U. T.

Before me, Elias Smith, Judge of the Probate Court, in and for the County of Salt Lake, Territory of Utah, on this Sixth day of October A. D. 1877, personally appeared George Q. Cannon, Brigham Young and Albert Carrington who upon their oaths, severally said that they will perform, according to law, the duties of Executors of the estate of President, Brigham Young deceased.
