Dear Sir,
Herewith we hand you Memo. of the payments of "War Prems" by Mr Robinson & ourselves, showing acct to be $32.446.58
You will note we say in every case of "Steamer" "Pac Mail S.S. Co."
We never used to care for, or Know the name of the Steamers, but always had our policies read for a Steamer leaving either New York or San Fco.at any given date.
Other than this the statement is plain enough.

Dear Sir, We hand you herewith the a/c of Willets & Co. for war premiums paid during the Rebellion amounting to $91.570 84 which you will please preserve with a view to presenting it in a proper shape to our Government. Mr. Beaman will be with you Saturday & we wish you & he would talk over the best plan to take with such claims as these, & we can send W & Co. Power at any time.
