Dear Dr. Van Waters -

I know you are always busy on your Duty. Please permit me to say [which?] it is a pleasant letter to Dr.

I really am having hard time with my eyes. I am disturbed in my sleep every A.M. anytime after 1 A. M. - real sharp pains comes in eye. left one on way too. Keeps me awake for a while. - + I crying. This is no bluff? as I've had this trouble in [?] 25-50 when I called to see Dr. Sloane his 1st fee is 10. dol. after that 5 dol. I have a nose Specialist Dr. Corran known taken care of my husband daughter + I for over 20 yrs. his first fee to me was 10 dol. + last April my husband + I visited him cost us #5.00 for both of us. it pays to go to a Specialist + Dr Corran

(2 thinks alot of us as we were one of the 1st patients he operated on our nose at Boston Dispensery. [now?] Dr. [Favid?] when I read in paper about hearing's coming out at State House. I really did [cry?] for you. you + all officers here were always lovely to me + let Dr. in good terms.

Now read this without fail when I went to state House to hearings after few days I noticid a tall woman dressed in black walking around floor at hearings, she sit down by somebody 2 books + a small newspaper in her arms got talking with people talk about you Dr. well it burned me up. so I took a notion to followed her around hearing + found out who she was I looked in phone book located where she lives short St. off

Charles St, Boston, I made it my business to call on her. My I had to go up more than one long flight of stairs into an [enniormus?] large room, walls having extra large expensive rugs but so dusty around. I guess she was alone I told me name + asked if she was interested in Dr. Van Waters. she gave me some look said no. I said I had misfortune to be here with Dr. ever office nice kind did every thing for us. that Dr. did so many thing's here to make us all happy. by jingo she got made disapproved Dr. Lewis Supt to what was going on about sex + nothing done to stop it. I said I did nt see no such a thing as I was aroundbuilding as I was working in Dressing room

(4 + do lots of sewing for the officers her + paid me well, well could not get sex matters out off her mind + was determined to put Dr. out of your position, well I was there I hr. 17 nim. + left. At hearings I followed her around corridor after her + I try to talk to her would not listened to me 1st 2d time so on 4 more times I chased her all around corridors. + on 4th time Police officer at desk saw me in a hurry asking what's wrong so I said so + so Miss Marian Nicholls was annoying the public at your hearing poisoning their minds I said she is annoying people + what she did as I have explained I said Iknew Dr. was with Dr. praisid you + officers

(5 + The joy Dr. put in our hearts to make us happy during holidays. said will it [kill?] [?] if I check her out. he said chase here up here by his desk. But went to other outlets, so on last time 6th. she I chased her out that she had to go up stairs to Beacon St. she went spoke to traffic office stading in middle of st. I motioned to officer + pointed my hand around my head he nodded his head to say yes, she was nearly 10 [?] he put his hand to his mouth + laughed and I did a good job on here officer at desk felt sorry not having chance to get a look at her. I was told Miss Nicolls sister lives at next door and not in speaking terms with
