Feb 26, 1951 [?] Thank you

Dear Dr. Van Waters,

My parole is finally over. Isn't that wonderful? After four long years I can really say I've made it.

I don't know how to thank you for all you did for me while I was at Framingham but I'm so proud that I didn't let you down.

I remember the day I left you told me it was really goodbye, you knew I wouldn't be coming back.

so badly.

I want you to know that Mrs. Flynn, my paraole officer, took over where you left off. She was always there when I needed her with faith and understanding. I owe both you women a deep debt of gratitude. I shall always thank God she was my parole officer for a more understanding person the she and yourself never lived. You are both wonderful women and I am proud to have been associated with you

Sincerely yours, Hilda Camille 167 New Boston Rd. East Fairhaven, Mass.

P.S. Say hello to Susan and Ralphie for me and also to their mother. God bless you all for the wonderful work you are doing.
