Mrs. Inez C. Kimball 29 Griffin Road Peabody, Mass.
Dear Inez,
Thank you for your kind and thoughtful letter. I welcome hearing from you at any time, and especially appreciated your writing to me during the difficulties of the past few months.
The outcome of events has great meaning not only for the immediate present but for the future, as so many people are now aware that legislative reforms are necessary to enable us to go on with our work here at Framingham.
I am so glad to hear you are well and happy and send my very best wishes to you.
Sincerely yours,
Miriam Van Waters

Mrs. Van Waters
Every since I came from the Hospital I have been going to write and tell you how Happy you made me while in Hospital. The flowers were so very pretty. May I say "thank you" for them. I am working, still I don't seem to gain my strength I think. The season of the year has something to do with it:
I think of you so many many times and know just how hard its going to be for you.
I will be so Happy when Dr Van Waters returns back to us. We all miss her, and I know of course that you do.
