Dear Mary:

It is more heartening for me to write you at this time. I do wish to congratulate you upon your success. You have completed your Indenture and need not write me a report any more.

I would like to hear from you once in a while and do hope you have a pleasant Christmas Day.

Sincerely yours,

Miriam Van Waters Superintendent

Dear Friend,

I meant to write you before now, as I promised to, but something always seemed to turn up just as I would plan to pen a few lines.

Needless to say I am serenely happy at home with my mother and brother and I hope that in the future I may be able to forget that I was separated from them. It was a nightmare for us all and it is easier to think of more pleasant things.

Master Humanitarian, Our Saviour Jesus Christ, with gratitude for what is done to the least of these, "My Brethren." Doctor is indeed somebody worthwhile knowing, and I was her continued success in her work.

I find that space won't permit me to say more but you may be sure I've thought of you many times

and I unearthed my little leaflet about the paper house.

If you could take the trip down to see it, I feel sure that you would be amply rewarded. I should think also, that by now, many more pieces have been added, so it will prove interesting.

If you could find time to write to me, I should be very pleased. My fondest wishes to you, and also Doctor.

Sincerely,

Mary E. Connors
