The Two Sided Club and the entire student body, wish to extend their sympathy to you, and your family, in your recent bereavement.
We fully appreciated Mr. Tremere's kindness loyalty and faithfulness to the safety of everyone at the institution. Such a sincere and generous character will be greatly missed, but his memory will still dwell in the hearts of us all.

Dearest Dr. Van Waters
I know you worry about your girls, and I know you know how stunned I was yesterday; therefore, I hasten to let you know that thus far I'm all right. I stayed in Framingham last night to compose myself before returning home.
I am about to drop the Commissioner a line thanking him for his time. Frankly: I wouldn't know where to begin to substantiate anything, because so far as I could see, he didn't even condede I was born. I honestly see nothing in the future for me, because if the Commissioner of Correction is so "prosecuting attorney-ish" in manner, I certainly can't expect anything from Society - nobody's fault but my own, incidentally.
