Dear Sir

I have just succeeded in getting G M Hanson to sign the vouchers sent me on the 4th instant. He kept one voucher of each [illegible?] and also the certificate of Burgess & Hancock and said it was necessary for him to do so. As I am [holy?] inacquainted with the transaction of such business I do not know whether I was right or wrong but [presume?] the [old?] gentleman on [illegible?] to know &c. Any assistance I can be to you up this way will be cheerfully [done?] &c my regards to Mr [Faris &c?]
