Turned out just in time for breakfast after breakfast put my uniform safely away down in store room. Feeling very tired after last nights little time ashore. Hugged the coast during the day. Most of the day put in preparing the VICS & Tas. for disembarkation. Did some
washing after dinner then played Bridge until tea time. Arranged to
take on mess orderly tomorrow. Had hopover on beds & hammocks al nigh. Deuce of a row caused thereby. With [?] hat men kicked up a row. Wowsers -

Wednesday 12
Land in sight at breakfast, spent morning in cleaning up my kit Cape Otway passed about noon took snaps of same. Heads of Port Phillip bay sighted about 3pm. Open Pilot came on board and took boat into
Port Adelaide. Victorians & Tasmanians prepared to dis-embark in the morning. Went to bed fairly early as we expect to rise earlierthan usual
