Inclosed you will receive a Receipt for some amounts handed me by Col. Davie, for the benefit of the Trustees of the University. Very unfortunate Several of these persons. Nothing can be had. Dolvin has long since moved to Georgia. believe Nichols also Macon is dead & left no property. I have not found Griffin the Other has promised to pay, Should the inclosed Rect not be sufficient I will give another be so Obliging as rite me as soon as you may Receive this as I may be certain
