A good day. Jim suckered tobacco all day. Ben carried Josie & Franklin & Mary B to Jim Powers. They spent the day. He brough them home to night. Fanny Power come with them. John & his children went to Marvins this evening and from there to Johnson Reynolds. Edna went with them. Christenia Reynols & Ruth Barker come here a while this evening.

Virginia Harvey & Hellen Brumfield come to night. Mr Smith brought them on a car.

I gathered a few beans this evening & killed two chickens for breakfast in the morning.

A good day. Jim & Ben cut a house of tobacco for Jim.

Josie got dinner. She had snaps and chicken, potatoes. Nellie made some preserves of damson that Mrs Edmons gave her.

This evening Miss Tredway and Miss Creasy & Tucker come to see Evylin. Did not stay but a few minutes.

Nellie & Josie gathered snaps and tomatoes for tomorrows dinner.

Carries baby is sick. I do hope that she will soon be well. Tonight Henry went to the barn by him self after dark. Edna has a bad colde tonight. Hope she may soon get over it.

I got a basket of sweet potatoes for Franklin. Brought them home & washed them.

A good day. Ben went to meet Jim at Gretna this evening. All the children went with him.

To night Clifton and Jane and Bruce & Molie Reynols was here to supper. I was glad to have them. Jack Harvey commenced to paint the house top. Quit and went to Mr Moses. He had Bens horse and buggy.

Josie got dinner. She made a cake. I killed two chickens for supper. I washed two pair of blankets this morning.

Heard to night that my brother went to Chatham Saturday and had some teeth taken out. I do hope he may get well a gain.

Heard tonight that Hughs Walker died this morning. I knew him when we were young.

A good day. Ben & Jim and Jack Harvey moved some tobacco this morning. Franklin fell out of the waggon in the wheel and got hurt right bad. This evening Jim went to White Falls to the mill.

Ben & Jack finished painting the roof of the house.

Josie washed a good washing for her to do.

Carrie and all the children but Reese come down here. I killed & dressed a chicken and dug some potatoes and went to the orchard and got a basket of apples.

I am counting on going fishing in the morning.

A little cloudy but no rain to do any good.

Ben carried Virginia Harvey to Gretna on her way to school. Jim tied tobacco all day. Mr Owen is working on tobacco two. Jack Harvey painted most all day. Ben & Henry helped some this evening.

Two life insurance agents come here to day.

Josie got most of the dinner. I baked a peach pie this evening. I made some apple jellie. Went to the orchard and got a basket of apples.

Went to Marvins a few minutes. Come home and dressed a chicken and milked the cows.

The men folks has gone a opossome hunting to night.

Jack Harvey went from here tonight.
