A good day every body wishing it would rain that is every body that is olde enough to know how bad it is needed

We all staid at home to day and no one came to see us

Carrie sent Josie a nice dinner I cooked a chicken and squirrel Baked some potatoe pies Would not write about what I done but have nothing else to write every body is in bed but me and I will be prety soon if nothing happens 9 oclock

A good day. Some frost this morning. We all staid at home except the children. Henry went to Johnson Reynolds's. Edna & Franklin went to Uncle Marvins. Mr Hutcherson & Ada went to see Carrie this evening. Kate Harvey come to see us this evening.

Mr & Mrs Power come to see Ben & Josie to day.

I got dinner. Had chicken and salmon, pickle & preserves, tomatoes and pies.

I should not write such small things but have nothing else to write.

A good day. Jim & Ben rambled a round all day. Josie got dinner. I killed a chicken & dressed it ready to cook.

I went to see Kate & Mag. I eat dinner with Kate. She was at home by her self. This evening Dr & Pearl Wiggin and Charles & Irvin Harvey come to Kates. We were at Mags. I was glad to see the children.

I walked all the way home and nearly all the way there. Claude Edmons carried me on their car from our barn to the fork of the road at Johnson Reynolds barn. I was mighty glad of that much help.

Virginia Harvey went back to school to day.

A cool day. To night is colde. Jim & Ben went to Chatham. Nellie come with them home. I am very glad that she come.

Mr Owens baby is sick. I do hope he may be better soon. Josie baked a fruit cake to day.

Mr Owens carried some chickens to Long Island this evening.

I was at Marvins a few minutes this evening.

A beautiful day. We was all at home at dinner. Ben hunted a little. He killed a rabbit and a bird.

I got dinner. We had sparribs & cabbage & chicken and cakes. We had no company.

Carries children come a while this morning. Carries and Bens children gave me some nice presents. I was invited to dinner at Lee Brumfields but I did not go.

Josie straitened up things some but the baby cried so much that she could not do anything much.

The children spent the day playing with the toys that they got this morning.
