terminate with the lives of the respective beneficiaries thereof; and upon the termination of each of the said trusts, the principle sum or amount thereof shall become and be a part of the rest and residue of my estate as hereinafter disposed of, and pass under the residuary clause hereof. I give and devise to my friend Mrs James Covert of Albany New York, the house which she is now occupying being No 292 in State Street, Albany with the grounds upon which it is situated; to have and to hold to her for and during the term of her natural life. After her death the said house and grounds are to be part of the rest and residue of my estate as hereinafter disposed of and to pass under the residuary clause hereof.

All my wardrobe, furs, cloaks, wraps, and other articles of apparel, bed and table linen, lace table-cloths, lace bed spreads, lace pillow-slips, all toilet articles of my own my dear husbands and son's Leland Stanford Junior, to be distributed by my brother Charles Gardner Lathrop according to his best judgement between himself his daughter Jennie Stanford Lathrop. The wardrobe of my dear son Leland Stanford Junior and my husband I desire my brother Charles G. Lathrop to dispose of according to

(9) DISTILLERY, Continued Ah Sing, Laborer. Employed at general work. $1.25 per day, boards self. Useful man, understands work required. Will probably accept $1.10.

Can have Day. WINERY Chas. Staubes Foreman$150.00 per month. Present and future wages $100.00 per month, as per agreement with Mrs. Stanford, for services as winemaker.

C. Voss. Cellar Foreman $50.00 per month. Will accept $45. [$49]

W. Schelle Second man. $1.25 per day. Will accept $1.10. 12 for board

W.A. Price. Cellar man. $1.15 per day. WIll work at any price offered

J.E. Cureton. Cellar man. $1.15 per day. WIll work at any price offered

E. Douspis. Cellar man. $1.15 per day. WIll work at any price offered

M. Singler Cellar man. $1.15 per day. Will accept $1.00

J.D. Jones. Cellar man $1.55 per day. Boards self. Will accept $1.40.

C. Brouillard. Cellar man $1.55 per day. Boards self. Will acceot $1.40 per day.

W. Haman. Cellar man. $1.15. Will accept $1.10.

W. Skelton (Let him go) Laborer. Doing all kinds of work about the winery as required. wages $1.00 per day. Will accept such reduction as considered right. Think will take $25.00 per month.

P. Mabie Teamster $1.15 per day, hauling brandy, and doing all other team work on the grounds, or outside as required. Will accept same wages as other teamsters.

To Whom it May Concern:

Notice is hereby given by Jane L. Stanford, by her Attorney in fact, the owner of the property hereinafter described:

(1) That the setting of the steel roof trusses and other steel work of the Natural Sciences Building at Leland Stanford, Junior, University, Palo Alto, Santa Clara County, [California the contract for doing which was heretofore let to E. F. Jones and which contract was filed for record in the Recorder's office of the County of Santa Clara on the ___ day of ___, 1900, and which said building is situated on said property, was actually completed on the seventeenth day of June 1901 and accepted by the undersigned on said day. That the title of the undersigned said property is that of (2) Jane L. Stanford as surviving Founder of the Leland Stanford Junior University.

That the property hereinbefore referred to, and on which said building is situated, is in the grounds of said University above named in the county of Santa Clara, State of California.

In witness whereof the said Jane L. Stanford has caused these presents to be executed by her Attorney-in-fact on this seventeenth day of June 1901.
