She miscarried a fortnight ago and by not taking care of herself has pushed Sanies in utero, She has also symptoms of inflamn & weakness We must first take of the inflam. sumptoms & apply proper foment. to the belly together with laxative & Sedative medecines & keeping of her Still & quiet untill the inflam.n has gone off & then use the Cortex but if you bleed or give B[?] to Strengthen her before the inflamn.. is take off you will perhaps kill the patient

Symptoms Was Seized about 4 days ago with violent fever wch came on about 7 o clock wth Shivering ch like an Ague wch (as he says) continued till next morng. in this state somebody gave him spices whch as he says prevented him all Saturday & Sunday which relivd him some but was more relieved Sunday by an inflamation attended wth swellng in his Leggs. This inflamn, is too general to be called Rhle encepelous that Seizes the Substance of parts This only diminish'd his fever a little, for now his tongue is coverd wth mucus, great pain in his head & back, & has not sleept thus 3 days.

We have here two Diseases the inflmn of his leggs & the fever, tho the inflamn is of no consequence in comparison to the fever Now tis a question whether we shd apply the bilsters to his leggs, for that might take off this natural inflamn & so encrease the fever, another Questn is whether the Sodorific medicines off the fever or not, or whether by producing the hot fit sooner it Shortend the paroxysms.

Symptoms of Disease Has had a kind of acute Rheumatism attachg sometime one part & sometimes another for 3 months, he has pain with swelling. We might treat him wth relaxants or (as there is not too great inflmn to forbid it we may use Vol Alkali, or we might some Opium with relaxants but as there has been Bark recommended by great characters in the like case we have accodingly ordered it.
