June 29th John Caloway 19 Has complained of a pain in his back which took place by fits later he has gradually lost his strength & appetite & is five months since he has been disorder'd. at present he has a cold fit which takes place in the morning about 5 0 clock which is followed by the hot fit. he has pain in his head bowels, & extremeties, his belly is bound & he is much emaciated & a sallow look [pe..lier] to fevers, his being worse upon walking & a hectic ferver seem to point out a lumbar Abscess but then the evening paroxyisms would have taken place, we then thought it might Rx. Bol Rhei. Rx Pulo Berm. Rx. Julep Menthal a Vin Emet

Symptoms She complains of pain in her thigh which has been more or less ever Since delivery which was very dificult. She has had Shifters but without effect, tis now a month fine her delivery & She thinks She grows worse D. K says that Sometimes the pressure on a nerve gives palsy and not pain & vice versa.
