It was 7:00. Long time in the snow. Watched TV, Violence in America. Got bored. Went to MSoft, ate, then called Kehoe to see if he wanted to take walk in the snow. Not too excited about it. General workday. Nothing very exciting at all. After dinner, exercised, then went out to Heights + heard Foxes was good. Went there. All redecorated. Had some fun with old friends. Dave + Tom Rosenburg. Stayed till closing. Very derelict. Got to pick 12 songs on box. General workday. Got hair cut. Was supposed to do 6502 stuff but sort of depressed so didn't.

Read Personal Computing magazine. Good stuff. Want to do more of that sort of reading. Paul came back from Pennsylvania, went to Harrisburg accidentally. Funny stories.

Then I went out to Foxes. But first this: More thoughts in work.

I'm satisfied with my personal achievements over the past nine months + of course I was happy before that with what I'd done. My social life was as good as can be, really good last spring, and very romantic this last fall. I accomplished a lot of owrk, all of which was stuff that had to get done, for my career. As I said, if I'd asked for more money I might not have been able to do as much. I am satisfied too with the progress of EDITX. I don't really know which way to turn now

but I think I'm ok, since I used up all the time I could for it last fall, and did all the MSoft stuff I wanted to.

I have to restart the marketing plans. It seems things are at a standstill now. Also I have reviewed all other editors but I have not finished thinking about data entry.

This quarter will be similar to last in that I will work on EDITX, some MSoft stuff, a friendly but not really romantic social life, and do two nights a week of exercise. But it will differ in that MSoft has much less for me to do. I am going to try to goof off + not commit myself to too much. Also I have to work on getting a new job and getting a contract for it.

So hopefully by the end of this 1/4 I can do something w/ EDITX + move to LA + have fun probably with Chip.

I also want to read a lot more; I am going to read Wall Street Journal every morning + Business Week too. This will be done in the morning + I will do MSoft stuff in afternoons + evenings, mostly.

That is all I want to do. Let's see how that goes.

I am now going to write up Friday night + Saturday wee hours. I am doing this Sat'day afternoon just before I go see Chip, so I can be boned up to tell him my feelings.

I went to the Foxes + there was nothing there so I left after 1 glass of wine.

I went to Heights + cruised a bit, then went around + saw

Mike Rigotts just moved back from PHX. We danced. As we were talking, Chip + Jamey Trujillo came in. My heart sank. I tried not to notice. Waited a bit. Then told Mike I had to go say Hi to a friend.

They were both cordial + we 3 had a good time, esp Chip + I. We talked + laughed. Such fun. Then Jamey, made his move, I guess. Chip said "I have to go get my jacket." Jamey apparently left while Chip stood around me. I looked as sad I could. Finally I just said "I guess I better get going too." Then I squeezed his arm; gave him a remorseful look + left. When I got back w/ my coat he was gone.

I left very downhearted. I was looking down at my feet while I walked to my car. I went back to Foxes
