I have been working very hard all the morning which makes my hands tremble so much I can scarcely write. I am indeed sorry your father should have been so hurried off for nothing as he certainly will not remain in Savannah so long waiting - [Mr Webster] wrote your father that he would be there on the 15th12 or 15 - & as he was in Charleston on the 6th I conclude little [Dr Frog] is mistaken. I would have accompanied your father to see you but thought the load he had enough - I do not know when I shall see you dearest - as really I am so over run with [gra?] I cannot take off [Davy?] again I do want to see you & the chicks
