Thanks to retiring Trustees _
Voted,, that the thanks of this Corporation be presented to Messrs George H. Kuhn & Geo W. Crockett for their long & faithful services as members of the Board of Trustees. _
Some discussion having arisen upon that part of the Trustees' report which stated that a large & respectable number of proprietors had addressed
Conservatory for plants and flowers _
a petition to the Trustees, that a conservatory for the preservation of plants & flowers during the winter season might be erected at Mount Auburn: _
it was Voted that the Trustees are hereby instructed not to proceed in the erection of a conservatory at Mount Auburn, until they shall have first called a meeting of the Proprietors to consider the same, & shall have obtained the assent of the Proprietors thereto.
Resolutions respecting care of grounds & workmen _
Mr J. H. Bird introduced some resolutions relating to the care of the grounds at Mt Auburn, & to the conduct of the workmen therein, after the reading of which
Voted to refer the same to the Board of Trustees just elected.

The subscriber has examined the Cash account of the Treasurer of Mount Auburn Cemetery, for the year 1855. It is correctly cast. Satisfactory vouchers have been exhibited for all payments charged; as have also certificates for the various Stocks & for the Scrip mentioned on this paper, On the, the Treasurer had in hand five hundred eighty three dollars 43/100 belonging to the Fund for Repairs. At same date, the balance of the general acount due him, was two hundred fifty two dollars 51/100. _
