the hands of Proprietors. It was Voted that the reading of the same be dispensed with. Mr Nazro offered certain resolutions with a preamble which were discussed by the meeting and finally passed us follows, the preamble and the original second resolution having been withdrawn.

Resolved. That the Proprietors of Mount Auburn Cemetery hold in high estimation the valuable services of Mace Tisdale Esqr, as one of the Trustees of said Cemetery during the time that he served in that capacity - and consider themselves deeply indebted to him for his unwearied exertions for the promotion of their interests; and that their confidence in his ability, and their regard for him as a gentleman remain unshaken.

Resolved, that it is the opinion of this meeting that great care should be observed in the selection of the minor officers of this Corporation, and that they earnestly hope that this subject will receive the particular attention of the Board of trustees about to be elected.

Voted. To choose ten instead of nine trustees for the ensuing year.

The meeting then proceeded to ballot for ten trustees for the ensuing year. A committee was appointed to receive, sort and count the votes. Said committee subsequent
