Why must I leave Seattle? Microsoft moving to Redmond. Bleak, family-oriented area. No restaurants nearby Awful weather Cold, ice, rain 4 mo/yr Soggy, grey, foggy 4 mo/yr During those 8 months I don't like going to gym (awful music, steamy windows, trolls) and I have no nesting instinct and too much alcohol/drug tendency.

I have hurt a lot this winter. I achieved what I wanted for myself, but if I don't get good reward from mSoft, I'm going to look elsewhere.

I'M GOING TO LOOK ELSWHERE ANYWAY!! I MUST LEAVE.

A lot will happen in next two weeks. After it does, I can better decide what kind of car to get. I have to get out of Seattle though. I'm much too ALONE. It's obvious. I want to make friends while I'm still young + pretty.

Later Saturday I decided there just isn't any new car waiting for me. I like what I've got 2,8 liter cylinder 2 ft shorter than BMW 735 Sports car image with hatchback for cargo Interior feels great 2l gallon gas tank And I just got front brakes + starter + clutch fixed

So I just decided to keep it and get body fixed up + new tires + maybe even upholstery. Lock into this after SD.

Then I read + came up with a few more idead for Pers Acct while reading Friendly Software by Heckel.

Then David Burns came over and we went to Ritz, Trade Winds (too straight), Bid Eddies (too tired), Thumpers (good Midori), and Brass Connection + Neighbors + home

SUNDAY, MAY 12

Feeling tired from late night out, so I just read in the sun, finishing old magazines that had collected over winter. Later I went to dinner at Edgewater with Mom + Dad for Mother's Day. Sunny watery sunset.

MONDAY, MAY 13

Chiropractor + gym + lunch + laundry Go to work to enter the few things I dreamt up on Saturday. Then home + read Hecket's book more, and go to sleep.

TUESDAY, MAY 14

Finish reading Heckel + shelve it. Later I will go change one last feature + freeze Pers Acct.

Then I started to study new RWS stuff. I tabulated all the gains for each trade by month, and when one is well diversified, it looks like a lot of money could have been made over the last 2 years since the time that I tried it. There were CALLs that i could have bought even in February '83. But I didn't because I was letting the recent high rise influence me to only buy PUTS.

Nevertheless, it takes quite a bit of mental power to look through 300 option charts to find ones that satisfy the rules. And then I'd have to take time to buy them + do recordkeeping. Is it worth the time?

I'd feel comfortable putting up at most 10% of my liquid assets, or $5000. How much could I have made on this in the last 2 years. Ignore the RWS results at 1982 because that was a very special volatile year.

From my research of RWS trades for 1983, I find the average gain per trade to be 67%. And in the letter accompanying the materials, theaverage gain per trade in 1984 was 93%. Lets assume average of 80% and assume each trade lasts 6 months since minimum RWS recommend is 3 months, and maximum, is 9 moths. Then in one year I could earn 1,8 * 1,8 * 5000 or $16000. Is 16000 worth several hours/week?

Looking through 300 stock option charts is the worst part of the task. In addition, I'd have to make trades and do recordkeeping. But the search for options is very monotonous, and very prone to error because the task is so boring and the rules aren't simple.

Doing this every week would require AT LEAST 4 hours, probably more. For $16000, that's $80/hour. I'd really rather spend that time on something else, because the work has NO OTHER VALUE.

GOOD But if there were a Newsletter I'd probably be interested in trying out the system. If there isn't one, then that should tell me something: RWS is a con.

Another problem is diversification. With $5000, I could get maybe 20 options, and that's not very many. Because profit is so widely variable, that's probably not enough.

But newsletter could still interest me.
