No rain at all, the rain seems clearing away. If no more wet weather comes before next week Harry & Mr. Bob will go on down to the Norman. The air is so nice & pure.
[Wednesday 28]
Harry & Mr. Lamond took we three girls for a ride this afternoon. We went 8 or 10 miles in all. First, to see a number of Palm trees & then to the O'Shannassy to see how high it had risen. It is low again now, but it has been very high from all appearances Delightfully cool.

The time is drawing close for Harry to go away & no more rain has come to postpone it. Harry & I went on one of our short strolls along the river bank. The flies are too bad for the walks to be enjoyable. It is nice & cool still.
[Friday 2]
Mr. Shadforth & Mr. Bob went out on the "Run" today & will be away until tomorow. Harry was to have gone but he was unwell all day so could not.
