Cannon as one of the Executors of the Estate of President Brigham Young deceased, being first duly sworn according to law, each for himself, on oath deposes and says that he is a freeholder resident within the Territory of Utah, and worth the amount of Ten Thousand dollars over and above all of his debts and liabilities, exclusive of property exempt from execution.

To the Hon. Elias Smith, Probate Judge, in and for said County
Your petitioner respectfully represents that he is one of the sureties to the official bond of Albert Carrington, one of the Executors of said Estate, and that he now desires to be released from said responsibility, on account of his future acts as Executor.
Your petitioner therefore prays that a citation be issued to said Executor, in accordance with section 810 of the compiled Laws of Utah, and that the relief desired may be granted.
