Bond of Executor.

Know all Whom it May Concern by these Presents:

That We, George Q. Cannon of Salt Lake City in the County of Salt Lake and Territory of Utah, as principal, and Angus M. Cannon, James Jack, A. O. Smoot, A. M. Musser, A. C. Pyper, J. C. Kingsbury, D. McKenzie, J. W. Fox, S. B. Young, John R. Haslam, O. P. Arnold, H. K. Whitney, W. A. Rossiter, J. R. Winder, John Squires, James A. Cushing, T. McKean, C. Crabtree, R. R. Anderson, and Erastus Snow in the County of Salt Lake and Territory aforesaid, as sureties, are held and firmly bound unto the Territory of Utah, for the use of the heirs and creditors of President Brigham Young, deceased, in the penal sum of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) Dollars, lawful money of the United States, for which sum well and truly be paid we hereby bind ourselves, our heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, jointly and severally by these presents.

In Witness Whereof, we hereunto set our hands and seals at Salt Lake City Utah Territory this Twenty-sixth day of September A.D. 1877.

The conditions of the above obligations are such that, whereas the above bounden George Q. Cannon was on the Nineteenth day of September A.D. 1877 appointed one of the Executors of the estate of President Brigham Young, deceased.

Now, if the said George Q. Cannon shall faithfully execute the duties of the trust according to law as such Executor then this obligation shall be null and void, otherwise to be and remain in full force and virtue.

TERRITORY OF UTAH, COUNTY OF SALT LAKE.

Angus M. Cannon and James Jack Sureties to the foregoing bond of George Q. Cannon as an Executor of the Estate of President Brigham Young deceased, being first duly sworn according to law, each for himself, on oath deposes and says that he is a freeholder resident within the Territory of Utah, and worth the amount of Fifteen Thousand dollars over and above all of his debts and liabilities, exclusive of property exempt from execution.

A. O. Smoot and A. Milton Musser Sureties to the foregoing bond of George Q. Cannon as one of the Executors of the Estate of President Brigham Young deceased, being first duly sworn according to law, each for himself, on oath deposes and says that he is a freeholder resident within the Territory of Utah, and worth the amount of Twenty Thousand dollars over and above all of his debts and liabilities, exclusive of property exempt from execution.
