which pig Henry got from Mr Blanks for Tar. he having one at our house could not keep it I took it for Estate, I went to Sheltons Tan yard yesterday for Estate of JDH to see about leather got some & will get balance next week

15th Novr 1865 Henry Claiborne & little Henry made this year 2 1/2 Bbls(Corn at Plantation Jordan & Sandy 3 1/2 " made 1865 little over Lowry made little over 1 " Buck made little over 1 "

16th Big Henry has not returned yet & was to come back yesterday. Halling wood spining & shoemaking Jerry has not come back from Lynchg & its nearly night — Henry got back in the night & so did Jerry & the waggon

17th Cutting wood in new ground Claiborne carried Load Greens to Plantation & we put them away weather warm & fair—Sandy shoemaking & expects to gettomorrowdone

18 Claiborne carried Load Greens etc to Aspen Grove Began to Pow for Corn finished taking up brush on Creek this evening Cutting wood Sandy finished shoemaking

1865 Novr 19th Cloudy & like for rain " " 20 Started to Court yesterday come back to day in the rain Plowing some halling & getting wood

Novr 24 I have been to Lynchg little Henry went with waggon sold 1 Hhd tobacco my own & 3 of Estate got back to day [unclear] gone 3 days fine weather they have fix cow shelter cleaned out stables Halled leaves cut wood for Pant Bed & to day burning when I got home weather cooler a little —

25 Finished Plant Bed & Fenced it in & set away greens them alsohere covered Claiborne Halling wood Fine weather, to day

27th Jerry & Jordan starts to Lynchg for Estate of JDH. Hhds. Turned cooler Sent to mill this morning 1 Barrel corn for meal, cutting wood & Halling, Burning Plant Bed this day at Plantation Sent Henrylittle

28th Went to Aspen Grove to fix smoke house, they burnt Plant Bed

29th Novr 1865 Killed 13th hogs at Cedar Hill this morning & will carry them to Aspen Grove Sandy came up to help us Givin Henry Hog weighing 90 lbs carried 11 to Aspen Grove

30th Nov 1st & 2nd Dec. Friday & Saturday This morning 2 Decr I came from Cedar Hill been down there fixing breaking young yoke steers, cutting wood & halling all the week since we killed Hogs here Jerry & Jordan gone back to Lynchg 2 Hhds more for the Estate making 8 now in Lynchg be back to night I am going to Aspen Grove to day to carry a Load clear fine morning

6 7th. & 8 Cutting Halling wood in new ground, Killing Hogs at Aspen Grove, sent Claiborne down there with Load boards & to help kill hogs Jerry got back from Lynchg last that is the 7th. Rained & cloudy for a day or Two now turned off Cold Jerry gone to Plantation to night & I am home —Henry went to mill & will send him to Tates mill with wheat & cotton to Pick this day Let Henry have 1 Bushel wheat from old place for Pig last spring & Sent it to mill & 2 Bushels wheat for me flour & 2 Bags cotton to Pick one 45 lb & 1 61½ lb making 106½ lb

9: 10: 11 Went to meeting Saturday & Sunday Covered Barn on Road here Cutting at new ground here done but little at Plantation last week Negroes hunting homes I stayed last night dryed up [unclear] & cutting up [unclear] meet to day Plowing down there to day Raining to night.

Richard Whitehead & Sallie came down Friday 9th Decr 1865 to see us

12 Raining to day Sent Henry to Aspen Grove little Henry & Claiborne went to Fannies to shuck corn, Irby came down Mr Bybee here

15 I went to CH 13th they plowed & cut in new ground 14th Sallie Naney & all of us went to Aspen Grove I stayed all & to day I came up here & Jerry went to Plantation they began to make molasses at old place Adam Mill from Campbell very cold to day Snowed little night before last

20th From the 15th to this day we have been moving fixing at Aspen Grove & at Cedar Hill cutting in new Ground at Cedar Hill & at Aspen Grove, it has been cloudy & rainy weather for a week & not much rain neither. I have been down at Aspen Grove more or less since I kill my Hogs there this day have moved
