to Aspen Grove & nearly done moving all except my cattle hogs & sheep Sheep & hogs shall move shortly — Big Henry & his family will move to Aspen Grove tomorrow or as soon as he can to live with me at Aspen Grove 1866. agreeable the agreement its now & has been raining little this evening at Cedar Hill 1 stack fodder on field & 7 halled up in new Granary & 2 stacks oats. 21 Hogs & my boar missing say 1 sow & 9 pigs 5 yearling 2 more[?] & 2 under them & 2 young sows & cattle 2 cows 1 Calve 1 young steer & 1 heifer. I gave Jerry 1 cow & calf & lend him another This winter, 11 sheep 7 I bring home shortly Gave Jerry 4th sheep
21st Fixing at home & Malissa & her family moved to Cedar Hill & Henry & his family moved to Aspen Grove
22nd Halling wood at Aspen Grove & sent Lowry & Abram to Cedar Hill to hall for Jerry - clear cold day John J. Lain went from home to day
23rd Have been fixing up houses weaving house Hen House etc cold day

24 Dec. Arch & Clementina & her family moves this day to Fannies & Jno J Lain left Aspen Grove this day - moved his things. Clear day - Raining & freezing Arch wont go to day - but took Clementina & her family from my house 25 Dec 1865 to live at Fannie W. Fitzgerald Malissa etc children small & Jordan gone to live at Cedar Hill Jerrys Sandy Abram & Lowry to live at Jesse H. 1865 August & Sept [lot] of tobacco sent to Lynchg f0r myself & John D Hunts est. Sent for myself 2 Hhd there this 19th Novr 1865 not sold sent for estate JDH not sold to the same date 3 Hhds 14 remaining Novr [13] 1865 my waggon & estates JDH carried over to Lynchg 2 more Hhd tobacco Jerry will sell one leaving 4 there at this time for estate & 2 for myself Novr 23rd sent over by Little Henry one for myself sold & 3 for the estate 2 I let [?????] & by John Waller all 3 of them sold leaving 2 Hhd of my own not sold 9 more to [?????] & 4 estates not sold 27th Monday Novr sent over by ]Leroy] & Jorden 2 Hhds tobacco of the estates not sold making 6 Hhds this day Decr 2 1865 Jerry started to Lynchg Thurs day morning 30 & got back tonight carried over 1 long & 1 short Hhd for estate John DH making 8 there this day not sold 7th DW Jerry H Graves carried over to Lynchg 2 Hhds more for est making 10 in Lynchg of est not sold & 3 at home.

1865 August 6 My corn was not plowed good tho its promising Mr Bybee helped me finish laying by our corn 1 day 3 plows on the Creek — the robbers came & attempted to rob me Searched my house & Henry was monout for a good while after they were here
