And it was voted that they be severally accepted, and printed for destribution among the Proprietors.

Vacancies

The President stated that three vacancies had occurred in the Board of Trustees during the last year _ by the death of Mr McKean, and by the resignation of Messrs Lawrence and Tisdale, and read letters from the two gentlemen last named tendering such resignation.

Comee to nominate _

Upon motion by Mr Jeffrey Richardson. It was Voted that a committee of five be appointed by the Chair to nominate a list of twelve gentlemen to act as Trustees for the ensuing year.

And Messrs Jeffrey Richardson
___ Frederick U. Tracy
___ Emmond Raymond
___ Charles Faulkner
___ and Henry A. Rice were so
appointed.
Comee to receive & count votes _

Upon motion by Dr Jas. W. Stone, Voted that a committee of three be nominated by the Chair to receive, assort and count the votes for Trustees, _ that where votes are cast by proxy, those of the latest date shall take precedence of those of earlier date.

Upon motion by C. P. Curtis Esq. the Secretary was added to the Committee.

Comee to nominate report _

The nominating committee appeared and reported the following list of candidates for

Trustees. viz. Messrs Isaiah Bangs

___ Uriel Crocker
___ Charles P. Curtis
___ Benj. A. Gould
___ Charles C. Little
___ Charles G. Nazro
___ James Read
___ Wm T. Andrews
___ Jacob Sleeper
___ Edward S. Tobey
The three gentlemen last named, in place of Mr McKean, deceased, and Messrs Lawrence and Tisdale resigned. ~

Balloting _

The meeting then proceeded to ballot for Trustees, pending which Mr Chas G. King presented a memorial

from Mr B. F. Wyeth, late Gate Keeper, complaining that he had been discharged by the last Board of Trustees,

without any reason being assigned therefor, and asking a hearing before the Proprietors.

Upon motion of B. F Hallett Esq., it was voted to refer the memorial to the Board of Trustees about the elected.

Trustees requested to modify Permanent Fund so as to apply to Lots _

It was also moved by Mr Hallett _ That the Trustees be instructed so to modify the terms of investment for the accumulating Fund as to make the income apply to the case of lots as well as to the grounds of the Cemetery.

After some discussion by several gentlemen, an amendment was moved by Mr T.J. Lee, and accepted by Mr Hallet [sic], to substitute the word "requested" for "instructed"; and the resolution was passed in that form. ~

Thanks voted to Messrs Tisdale & Lawrence _

Upon motion by Mr Chas H. Brown, it was

Voted that the thanks of the Propri- etors be tendered to Mace Tisdale Esq and Doct. Wm R. Lawrence for their able and faithful services, which have been so beneficial to the Corporation; and and that the Secretary be requested to transmit to them severally a copy of this vote. _

Messrs Wm R. Lawrence, Mace Tisdale, and Henry S. McKean had two votes each; and Messrs Isaac Parker, Jeffrey Richardson, Thomas Hastings and Daniel Taylor had one vote each. ~

The meeting was then adjourned without day.
