Dear Madam:
Was quite surprised, but very grateful when I received your most welcome parcel this fore-noon. I feel concerning your generous thought of us over here.
The Postal Authorities were very careful and all was in good state when it arrived here. My supply or stock, as we call it here, of goods from home was dwindling fast, so you can guess how relieved I was upon receival of your box.

Thanking you again for your kind thought and hope this short letter will let you know how much I appreciate the work your auxiliary is doing.
Yours Respectively Bill Dafoe

Dear Mrs. Rundle:
Please thank the Women's Air Force Auxiliary for sending me the lovely card and box of chocolates.
Candy bars and chocolates are very hard to get here and they were greatly appreciated.
Thanking you again, I remain
Yours Truly Robert B. Mothersill

Dear Members of O.W.A.F. Auxiliary:
I am pleased to report that my parcel received from you arrived in good condition, and wish to thank you for your kindness.
We fellows greatly appreciate these parcels from you folks at home, but what means even more to us is the unselfish altruistic spirit in which they are sent.
Sincerely Yours Douglas Neff Flying Officer, RCAF
