Women's R.C.A.F. Auxilliary:

Just a few lines to thank you for the grand Christmas present. I know it is a little late to send this letter, so I hope the old saying of "better late that never", still goes. I think writing letters is harder to do, than getting your first innoculations.

That certainly is a fine bit of work, that all the club members are doing. I am sure the fellows appreciate the task you have undertaken, more than they will ever be able to say. It sure is a grand gesture, on the part of you Oshawa ladies.

Thanks again for the much appreciated gift.

Sincerely L.A.C. HR. Andrews #16 S.F.T.S. Hagersville Ont.

Dear Mrs Hall:

I received your cigarettes today and I am very grateful to you. The English cigs are not too hot so I was thankful for the change. I am at an A.F.U. and I am getting used to flying over here now. Well thanks again. I'll be home for next Xmas.
