1st mo 15th 6th day Cloudy and foggy all day: mild. clear sun set. William at the Cottage after supper.

16th 7th day Clear day: Lucy came home from the Cottage in the morning, she and Emily went to Ashton before dinner: Emily went to Bentleys in the afternoon. William went to Phil after supper.

17th 1st day Cloudy and cold in the morning, cleared off in the afternoon: Jim Stabler dined here: Frank Thomas here before meeting. Lucy went to Burnside in the afternoon, staid all night. Morher and William went to Uncle Samuels after supper to see Harvey Miller who came yesterday, is going away tomorrow.

18th 2d day A rainy day: Joe came home from Baltimore, staid last night at Avondale.Minnie Finish came here from school and staid all night. Jo at Harewood after supper.

19th 3d day Cloudy and windy most of the day, with showers, about noon: the sun shone out at intervals in the morning, broke away some about sun set: Lucy came home from Burnside in the morning: Emily and I at Harewood to tea: William at Riverside after tea.

20th 4th day Cloudy morning, cleared off at noon a bright afternoon. Lucy at Gideons awhile in the afternoon. Kate here awhile

1st mo father at Uncle Samuel's in the afternoon: Joe went to Washington.

21st 5th day Cloudy morning, cleared up in the afternoon: I called at Sharon awhile in the morning, then went to Fulford to spend the day: Lucy went to Edward Lea's William went to Sharon with me in the morning: Joe came home from Washington in the evening: William at the Reading Circle in the evening.

22d 6th day Clear and mild. father went to see old B. Dounse in the afternoon: I called at Harewood then went to the store. Joe went to Phils after supper.

23d 7th day Clear day: father went to Water's shop after dinner Lucy cam home from E. Lea's and Riverside: Emily and I went to Uncle Samuels in the afternoon, and staid all night: William at Fulford after tea, to a surprise party.

24th 1st day Clear and mild: came home from Uncle Samuel's before meeting: no company here all day: Joe went to Burnside awhile in the afternoo, William to Bentleys to to supper.

25th 2d day Clear day: mil. Joe went to Washington: father at Uncle Samuels in the mornign: Aunt Lizzie called amd got Lucy to go to Sharol with her in the morning

1st moLucy went to Robert Moore's in the afternoon and staid all night I dined at Joshua Gilpiin's took tea at Sherwood. William met me there: Aunt Jane here awhile in the afternoon..

26th 3d Clear and mild. father went to Rockville. Lucy came home from Robert Moore's in the morning: Mother went to see Sarah Gilpin awhile in the morning: William at Uncle E. Thomas's after supper: Joe came home from Washington.

27th 4th day Clear and mile: Robert, and Hannah Stabler and the two children and Alice Taylor came here before meeting staid 'till 5 oclock, Mary Miller came in the afternoon. Robert came for her after supper. father at Ashton in the afternoon: William plowing at his place, all day at Ashton after supper. This is Henrietta's birth day

28th mercury up to 65 5th day Clear and warm: father went to Avondale in the afternoon: Lucy went to Samuel Elliotts: Joe not well, about the house all day. William plowing at his place: I went to Uncle Samuel's to the Association: Gideon Gilpin here after supper.

29th 6th day Clear and mild: father came home from Avondale in the afternoon: William plowing at his place: at Phils after supper: Joe plowing the peach orchard.

1st 2d mo 30th 7th day Cloudy and foggy all day: rained after night: William plowing at his place iin the afternoon: at the Lyceum after supper, staid all night at Ashton: Joe plowing in the orchard in front of the house in the afternoon: Lucy came home from the River by way of J. C. Gilpin and the Lyceum: Gilpin came with her from the Lyecum and staid awhile

31st 1st day 2 day Cloudy all day: Jim Stabler staid here: William went to Olney to supper.

2d mo 1st 2d day Cloudy all day, rained some early in the afternoon: Lucy and William went to the Lyceum at 8 oclock to a Sanitary meeting: William went from there to Ashton.

2d 3rd day

foggy all the morning, broke away in the afternoon: Lucy went to the Cottage in the morning, staid all night: father and mother at Uncle E. Thomas's in the afternoon: William plowing at his place all day.

3d 4th day Cloudy and blustering with snow flurries most of the day, cleared off late in the afternoon right cold. Hoe went to Washinton: Lucy came home from the Cottage in the morning, called at Harewood in the afternoon Emily and I at Harewood after supper: ajune Vogle called here in the afternoon.

2d mo 4th 5th day Clear except a few clouds in the morning and cool: father and mother spent the day at Uncle Samuels, Lucy at the Lyceum to meet the Sanitary committee at 3 oclock, Sarah Stabler came home with her to supper__they, with William went to the Reading Circle after supper: Joe came home from Washington about 6 oclock

5th 6th day Clear day: Lucy dined at Sharon: Mother at Harewood in the afternoon: Emily went to Robert Moore's from school.

66h 7th day Cloudy all day, rained a little in the afternoon: William at his place at work: Joe plowing in the orchard in the afternoon: Lucy at Harewood to in the morning, and again in the afternoon: William at Willow Grove after supper.

7th 1st day Cloudy 'til the middle of the afternoon, it cleared off: Lucy went to Brooke Grove from meeting: Joe went to Phils: William at Uncle Samuel's awhile in the afternoon: Emily came to meeting from R. R.Moores, then home.

8th 2d day Clear day: father went to Baltimore in the stage: William plowing at his place: I spent the day at Uncle Samuel's called at Burnside Pattie Thomas came home with Emily from school, and staid all night, William at the Cottage after supper. Joe plowing in the orchard.
