3 mo 6th 1st day Cloudy all day: at meeting: William dined at the Cotage at Phils to teas: no one here all day: Lucy at Harewood awhile in the afternoon.

7th 2d day Clear day: I went to the store in the morning, then went to Uncle Samuels and spent the day: Lucy went to Fulford in the afternoon, called at Sharon on her way. Joe plowing at Ingleside until the middle of th afternoon at Sherwood after supper: William at his place.

8 3d day Rained 'till the middle of the afternoon: the cleared off: we dipped candlles: William at Riverside last evening:

9th 4th day Clear day: Lucy came home from Fulford in the morning: Uncle Caleb and Aunt Ann dined here: Lucy William Candy here before meeting. Lucy staid all night at Burnside.

10th 5th day Cloudy all day, begun to rain before noon: father went to see old B. Downes in the morning: William went to Ashton and staid all night: Lucy went on down to Kennards

11th 6th day Cloudy all day: rained some in the afternoon: I called at Harewood in the afternoon Gilpin better: William at Cedar Lawn after supper.

12th 3d mo 7th day Clear and pleasant: father went to went to Baltimore, by Laurel George went to bring the horse back: Joes went to Alexandria: William at William Kennards to a raising: Lucy at William Moores. Emily and I called at Sharon in the afternoon then went on to Cedar Lawn to tea. William went for us. What will Debbie be doing this time next year, at seven eclock in the evening.

13th 1st Clear morning, a cloud rose about noon, a slight shower from it, then cleared off afain, cooler. William Moore brought Lucy home before meeting: Charlie Brooke and Milton Jackson here to dinner: William went with Milton to Cedar Lawn in the afternoon to Bentleys after supper: Joe came home about 9 oclock, Hattie Moore, Maggie Hoge, and Mary Gilpin her awhile in the afternoon.

14th 2d day Cold and windy, wind clouds, most of the day: Aunt Jane here in the afternoon: Lucy and I at Harewood after supper: :ucy called at Dr. Palmers in the morning: William at Tom Lea;s to tea.

15th 3d day Clouds flying about most of the day: two snow flurries one at noon, one early in the morning: father come home in the stage: Ella and Fannie Gilpin denied here: William at Uncle Calebs after supper to see Ann Shoemaker" Joe at Burn[sie?]

17th 5th day A beautiful bright day: Lucy dined at the Cottafe again then home, to the Sanitary meeting, to the Reading Circle after supper, and to Marverick Miller's from there: Anna Farquhar dined here: I went with her to Bentleys to supper.

18th 6thday Clear with some wind: father and mohter spent the afternoon at James Stone's: Aunt Lizzine and Annie Dickinson: Gilpin and Annie Hallowell dined called here:

19th 7th day Clear: Mother spent the day at Uncle Samuels, father went to supper: William and Joe at Ingleside all day planting potatoes: Emily at Fulford awhile in the afternoon I at Cedar Lawn at Library meeting: William at Bentleys after supper: Kate came home: Emily and I went to see her a little while after supper: Joe at Phils. Lucy went from M. R. Miller's to Hollands and spent the day.

20th 1st day Clear and windy: Lucy came home before meeting Charllie Stabler called before meeting: Uncle Tom, Debbie, Charlie and Margaret Brooke dined with us.

21st 3d 2d day Clear and cool. Lucy and I went to [Wetheralds?] after dinner when Roger Brooke's boys went from school, I walked home with them: Milton Jackson went home with them too Hattie Moore came home with Emily and staid all night.

22d 3d day Cloudy all day, begun to snow about 5 oclock. Pattie Mary and myself went to Eliz Kirks to tea: had a pleasant time: Uncle Samuel here after supper.

23d 4th day Clear day: several inchesof snow on the ground: but melted very fast: spent a pleasant day and evening Rogers:

24th 5th day Clear: I came home from William 3 [?] when the boys came to school Lucy went to Fulford: father went to see B. Downes and to Uncle Samuel's in the afternoon: Hettie Stabler called here in the afternnon: mother, Emily and I at Harewood after supper.

25th 6th day Cloudy all day: snowed and rained in the afternoon rained very hard after night. William went to Laurel for Suans: father went down to Mr. Cashell's in the afternoon to see about a new road: Henrietta, Frank and Mary came: no school today.

27th 1st day Clear: Charlie Stabler here to dinner: nothing else of any note occurred.

28th 2nd day Clear, 'till towards evening, it clouded up: in the afternoon Henrietta, Frank and I walked over to Sharon awhile: Aunt Sally Gilpin and Louis Painter here to supper: Joe went to Washington with Mary William went to Baltimore with John Osborn for his mother and sister.

29th 3d day Cloudy all day, begun to rain after night: Henrietta, Lucy and Frank went to Uncle Samuel;s in the afternoon, Joe came home Washington: Milton Jackson called here at noon.

30th 4th day Rained and snowed all day: William came home before meeting, staid at Edgewood last night at preparative meeting: Joe at Ashton and Phils in the afternoon.

31st 5th day Cloudy most of the day: father surveying for at B. Downest, gone all day: Henrietta and I at Ashton after dinner, then went to Harewood awhile: Lousia Thomas spent the day here. Sarah Stable, Frances Stabler and Alice Brooke came
