9th. 3d. day

Clear and cool: I went to Sharon awhile in the afternoon Jow plowing int he orchard in the afternoon.

10th. 4th. day

Clear and cool: Lucy came home & before meeting, came from Olney this morning, Cousin Sarah and Eliza came with her and staid "till meeting time & father came from Baltimore Emily Thomas her to dinner. Lucy at Ashton in the afternoon. William at the store after supper.

11th. 5th. day

Clear and cold: mercury 11 in the morning. Joe, William and George at William's place cleaning wheat all day. Lucy at Gideons awhile in the afternooon, she, Joe and I at - Harewood after supper: Emily at home all morningwith toothache. Gideon /\ here [?] for butter in the afternoon.

12th. 6th. day.

Clear early morning, clouded up about nine oclock, clear -ed off again in the afternoon. killed a beef, father took some of it to Frank Millers after dinner: Lucy went to Uncle Samuel's in the morning, came home in the afternoon, and took Lucy [ deleted] Emily to Uncle E. Thomas's to stay all night:William at the cottage after supper.

13th. 7th. day.

Clear day: Joe went to Laurel for Guona: I went to Sharon awhile in the afternoon; Lucy came home from Uncle E. Thomas's in the afternoon; William went to Roger Brooke's to stay all night.

2d.mo. 14th. 1st.day. Clear, windy, day: Emily came to Meeting from Uncle E. Thomas's and home: Uncle Tom and Debbie called here before Meeting; Mother went to Meeting, I staid at home; Charlie Stabler dined here; William at Uncle Samuel's and Clifton in the afternoon.

15th. 2d.day. Clear when we got up, soon clouded up, begun to snow about 3 o'clock, snowed 'till bed time: father and mother went to Clifton in the afternoon: father went to see B. Downes: William staid all night at Ashton.

16th. 3d.day Cleared off in the morning, windy and cold: some snow flurries in the morning: Gideon and Sarah Gilpin and her sister here to tea. My birth day.

17th. 4th.day Windy, cloudy and cold: Mercury down to 7 and staid so all day: Charlie Brooke here to dinner.

18th. 5th.day Clear, except a few hours about the middle of the day: Mercury down to 3 1/2 in the morning, got up to 17 in the afternoon. Cousin Sarah and Edith Farquhar dined here, Pattie & Mary Brooke came after dinner, staid 'till time to go to the Sanitary Meeting: Lucy went with them she - Joe and William all went to Frank Millers lecture.

2d mo. on "Emancipation" after supper. Joe hauling wood this morning.

19th 6th day Clear and cole: Mercuery 6 this morning: got up to 20 in the afternoon: Lucy called at Sharon and Fulford in the afternoon, at Gideon's to tea: Joe went to Washington with Lucy: I went to Sherwood after dinner to get vaccinated Wilson at the Reading Circle in the evening.

20th 7th day Clear and cold. Mercury 12 in the morning got up to 38 in the afternoon. father and mother at Uncle Samuels in the afternoon: Joe came home from Washington. William at Burnside after supper.

21st 1st day Mercury 24 in the morning. Clear mornings, clouded up in the afternoon: I went to Falling Green from meeting. Margaret and I called at Spring Garden awhile in the afternoon Anna Bentley came to see Emily awhile in the afternoon.

22d 2d day Clear morning and evening, cloudy most of the day Eliza and I called at John's and Uncle Tom's awhile in the morning: Debbie at Falling Green at supper.

23rd 3d day Clear day, Mercury up to 61 at noon: came down to Olney early in the morning: went to Rockland Ann tea Anna F. went with me: Joe went to Washington: Lizzie Lea

2d mo called here. Aunt Nancy here too.

24th 4th day Clear day, windy. I came from Olney to meeting then home. Hannah Anna Oakford fained in meeting: Lucy went to Burnside in the afternoon: I went to the store.

25th 5th day Cloudy most of the day: father took mother to Avondale, he came home to supper: Henrietta Briggs dined here, Annie Porter spent the day here: William and Joe both went to Brady's sale, Fred and Asa Stabler came home with them to supper, they with Annie and Lucy went to the Debate after supper: Joe went down to the Dutch Sail[ore?] in the morning.

26 6th day Clear and windy: father went to Bakers and Marlowes, Lucy at Harewood to supper:

27th 7th day Clear and pleasant: Lucy and Emily went to James Stone's in the afternoon: I went to the store: Joe plowing at Ingelside in the afternoon, went to Falling Green after supper to stay all night.

28th 1st day Lea is day. Uncle Caleb and Charlie Brooke called here before meeting: Tom Lea here to dinner: William at Uncle Samuel's to supper: Hazy all day, cloudy part of the day
