My place was six, & he called on me third to help me out & not keep me waiting. It was kind of him, but I had to refuse. Bed at 11.

Tuesday 29

Bummed nearly all morning &

discussed the contest with Funk. After dinner studied until 5 & then viewed beautiful Charlottesville & watched the C&O train go home. Went to hash house & had a romp with Susie. The little devil smutted up my face, then hid my

hat & overcoat. Funk came over after supper & wrote letters while I boned constitutional law. I hate the darn stuff. We have about decided to go out & be coin boys.

Wednesday — 30.

Reviewed lttle constitutional law. Studied some after lecture but had argument with Wickliffe most of time on subject. [Realized] that Baskett's foot is larger in proportion to his height than Wickliffe's are. I was guying

him about having such large feet & by some damn fool mathematics he tried to prove that his feet should necessarily be very large. He wanted to prove it by the gang at the hash house but he lost. Gee, what a home coming
