Friday Oct 10th 1851 Very foggy in morning Mr Lane and myself at work at shutters. Mr Mor ris up gunning - Mr Wil mer called at night
----- 11 ---- Worked at finishing shutters appearance of rain - Went in afternoon to Frank Reynold's -- Stopped to see Thomas Rogers -- Met Dr M. electioneering Wm Morris came up.
----- Sunday 12 ---- Cloudy but no rain. Quarterly meeting at Union Mr. Helmbold preached at N. L. if the righteous scarcely be saved.

Monday Oct 13th 1851 Rain like in morning but clears up without rain -- At work trimming Thomas Brown's carriage Aunt Rachel called to bid farewell.
----- 14 ---- Heard of the death of Mr Wilson's child -- Milly still is attending her father. Jonathan went to Elk after his family -- Rachel went to Elkton for Mr. Wilson. I was at Cherry Hill and Poplar Hill. Ellis Reynolds called on his way to Elkton.
