An ordinance was drafted defining the duties of the several officers which had been appointed by the City Council during the second reading the council adjournes till Monday Evening Feb. 13th/71. 6. o.clock {6)} Mon. Feb. 13 th/ 71. 6. P.M. The Council met pursuants to adjournment The Mayor appointed Three several commitees from the Council to draft certain Ordinances and report at the next meeting. The council council adjourned till Monday the 20th, Feb. 1871. 6. O.C P.M. {7)}Monday. Feb. 20th/71. ag 6. O.C. P.M.

The City Council met Pursuant to adjournment. The Ordinance dividing Spring City into Wards and regulating the water ditches side walks and shade trees thereof was taken up amended and passed. An ordinance relating to crimes and punishment was presented to the council which was read; and Pending the second reading the council adjourned Till Friday 24th of Feb./71 at /2 pst. 6. PM.

The ordinance relating to crimes and punishments wastaken up amended read the third time by its title and passed. An Ordinance Naming Making public the sheets of Spring City was presented by Councilor R.N. Allred which was approved and passed by the council.

An Ordinance defining the duties of the City officers which were appointed by the city council was under consideration: and during the second reading the council adjourned till Wed. March 8th/ 71. 6 1/2. P.M. {10)} Wed. March 8th/71 6 1/2 P.M. The City Council met accourding to adjournment. The ordinance defining the duties of the appointed city officers was taken up amended read the third time by its title and passed. Also an Ordinance relating to Dogs and Fowls was presented by councilor R.N. Allred amended and passed. The council adjourned till Wed. March 15th/71 6 1/2 P.M {11)}Wed. March 15th/71. 6 1/2, P.M. The City Council met pursuant to adjournment. Councilor R.N. Allred presented an ord-inance Relating to Licenses which after some ammendments, was read the third time by its title and passed. Also an Ordinance Relating to Water Ditches in Spring City corporation Field was read; pending the discussion thereon, the council adjourned till Wed. Mar. 22/71. 6 1/2. P.M. {12)} Wed. March 22d/71. 6 1/2 P.M. The city council met Pursuant to adjournment. When the petition of Orjon Hyde & six others an Ordinance was passed by the city Council changing Parley Street from six to five rods in width to conform to the other streets of the city. A petition was presented by George Brough praying for a Tavern License.

4 An Ordinance was presented by Councilor J.M. Behunnin in Relation to making gaps in Spring City corporation Field since which passed its first reading. Adjourned till Wed. March 29th/71. 6 1/2 P.M. {13)} Wed. March 29th/71. 6 1/2 O.C. P.M. The council met pursuant to adjournment. There not being a requisite number of members of the council present the council adjournment till Wednesday April 5th/71 at 6 1/2 O.C. P.M. {14)} Wed. April 5th/71. 6 1/2 P.M. The City Council met pursuant to adjournment. The council for and in comsideration of there Dollars granted to George Brough a Tavern License during six months from the sixth of April Eighteen Hundred & seventy one. The ordinance in Relation to Gaps in Spring City corporation field fence was taken up & passed by the council. Adjourned till Wed. April 12th/ 6 1/2 P.M. {15)}Wed. April 12th/71 6 1/2 O.C. P.M. The Council met pursuant to adjournment. The ordinance No. 11. regulating the water and water ditches in the farming lands in Spring City corporation was taken up amended and read the third time by its title and passed. Behumnin and Abram Acord presented a plot or design for a Burying Ground to be surveyed upon a plat of ground situated on the south side of the road leading from Spring City to Moroni and immediately North of the store guarry hill so called; which was unanim-ously adopted by the council. Councilor J.M. Behumnin and S. B. Frost were appointed to draft an ordinance to that effect and present the same at the next meeting. The council adjourned till Wed. May 10th/71. 6 1/2 O.C. P.M. {187)} Wed. May 10th/71 6 1/2 O.Clock P.M.and The city council met pursuant to adjournment. The Ordinance business relation to the burying ground was defered till a future time. a petition was presented to the council by Jens Jensen and four others praying for relief in repairing and supporting the crossing of a water sect on the county road near the corner of Poren Larsen's lot. Also a petition was presented by R.W. Allred and Brothers praying for the controll of the waters of Canal creek from the mouth of the canion to where J.M. Behumnin takes the water for his saw mill. Both of the above petitions received their reading and were ordered to be laid upon the table. The council adjourned Sine Die. {18)} Wednesday June 14 th/71 6 1/2 o clock P.M. The Mayor convened the council at the meeting House. The city council received the residnation of J.M -

The council was convened at the new store house of the cooperative Institution S. B. Frost presiding.
