{22} Monday Nov 30th/74 6 1/2 O clock P.M. A minority only appeared and adjounred till Monday Dec 7th/74 6[1/2] O clock P.M. Monday Dec 7th/74 6 1/2 O clock P.M. The council met at the Meeting House pursuant to adjounrment. Roll call: A quaram present. Prayer by councilor R. N. Allred The Treasury's yearly report was presented, read & accepted by the council. Wm. S. Barney not being present it was motioned & seconded & voted by the council that the Mayor call on said collectors and request him to attend the next meeting of teh council to receive instruction regarding said duty. Closing prayer by councilor Sauritz Larsen. The council adjounred till monday Dec. 12th12/74 6 O. Clock and 30 minutes P.M. Monday Dec 14th/74 6 Oclock & 30 minutes P.M. The council met at the Meeting House pursuant to adjounrment. Roll call; A quarum present. Prayer by councilor S. B. Frost. Wm. S Barney the assessor and collector made some remarks regarding his duty & c. The Mayor appointed S. B. Frost, A, Acord, and D. H. Allred as a comitte to establis the corners of Spring City more permanently as laid out by surveyor Terrin by placing rocks thereat. A pettition was presented to the council by Jacob Johnson praying for [sundry] enactments and appointments [] closing prayer by S. H. Allred. Adjounred till mon Dec 21st/74,6,30 P.M.

- {23} {no6} Monday Dec 21st/74. 6 O.clock & 30 minutes P.M. The council met at the Meeting House pursuant to adjounrment. Roll call. A quorum present. Prayer by councilor J. F. Allred. Councilor J. F. Allred preffered a resolution seconded by councilor D. H. Allred and adopted by the council, To writ That the city officers herein after mentioned [] the Mayor each city councilors Marshal and Recorder be required to attend all meetings of the city council (unless a reasonable excuse be rendered) or be subject to a fine of fifty cents for each neglect. An ordinance was passed appointing Peter Justisen City water master. Also an Ordinence appointing Rasmus Justisen City Marshal. Closing prayer by [ B] F. Olsen. The council adjourned to meet at J. F. Allred's on Tuesday the 22 of Dec /74. 4 O. clock & 30 min P.M. {no7} Tuesday Dec 22/74 O clock & 30 min P.M. The city council met at Councilor J. F. Allred's, Roll call: a quoram present. An ordinance was passed appointing Samuel G. Bunnel City Tresurer. Peter Justinsen & Samuel Allred were apponted City Police. John F. Allred City Attorney. The council resolved to receive grain for taxes for the year 1874 at the same price as it was selling to the Spring City Cooperative store at that time viz: Wheat 80 cets per bush. Barley one dollar & twenty five cents per hundred pounds, Oat one Dollar& thirty cents per hundred pounds, The coundil adjounred Sin Die.

24 No. 8 Thursday Jamuary 21st 1875 The city council assembled at the meeting house for a short session: All the council were present. A vote was [] granting a license to the Spring City cooperative Institution to retail [], [], and Fermented liquors at their store house on Main street from the date of this meeting until the fourth day of May in the current year for the sum of eight dollars being paid unto the city treasury. Council adjourned till Monday the 25th. Jan. /75[] 6 /12 O clock P.M. No. 9 Monday Jan. 25 / 75 6 1/2 ) clock P.M. The city council met [] to adjourment. Roll call:

No 10 Monday Feb 1st/75 6 Oclock P.M. The city council met at the meeting house persuant to adjournment. Roll call; a quorum present. Opening prayer by James A Allred the Mayor. The city officers whose term of office expired August 3rd 1874 were present for settlement biz. Mayor James A. Allred, Councilor Samuel B. Forn, R.N. Allred, John Larsen Henning Olsen Saml G. Bunnel and Joseph T. Ellis; Marshal Hans Adolph Thompson who voted to accept the amount of their several city taxes for the years 1873 and 1874 as their compen= sation for thier services in the city council during said term. J.T.S Allred was requested to present his account to the council for settlement at their next adjourned meeting. Sidney R. Allred to present his account against the city at the same meeting. The council voted that I.M. Behummin should have his city tax of $2.41) two dollars and forty one cents for the year 1874 canceled for labor previously performed for the city: and R.N. Allred [and] Abram Ascosd should each recieve the same amount out of the city treasury for performing the same amount of labor. The Mayor appointed councilors John F. Allred, Lauritz Larsen, [and] Abram Acosd as a committee to which was refered an ordinance relating to dances and amusements in Spring City and their action thereon to be reported at the next adjourned meeting of the council. {26} {No 11} Monday Feb. 8th/75 6 O. Clock P.M. The city council met pursuant to adjournment. Roll call: a quoram present. Opening Prayer by Councilor R. N. Allred. The commitette to whom was refered an Ordinance rela= =time to dances and amusementss in Spring City reported an ordinance regulating houses of amusement, theatricals & shows, whichwas refered back indefinitely to said com= =mittee. The Mayor appointed a committee of three Viz. R. N. Allred, L. Larsen, and A. Acord as a committee of Finance. Also a committee of three Viz. S. B. Frost, D. H. Allred and J. F. Allred as a Judicial committee. J. T. S. Allred presented an account of even Dollars for three days labor with team and furnishing stakes at the grave yard; which was ordered to be paid out of the treasury. An ordinance appointing a Sexton and definining his duties was refered to the committee on Judiciary. The council adhourned till Monday the 15th of february/ 75 6. O clock P.M. {no12} Monday Feb 15th/75 6 O. clock P.M. A minority the City councol met at the Meeting house and adjourned till Monday Feb 22/75 6. O clock P.M. {no13} Monday Feb 22/75 6.O clock P.M. The city council met at the meeting house pursuant to adjournment. Roll call; a quoram present. Opening prayer by coincilor D. H. Allred. The council appointed James T S. Allred to the office of Sexton and defined his duties by odinance No. 42. The council adjoruned till Moday the 8th of march/75 6 1/2 O. clock P.M. Closing prayer by councilor Lauritz Larsen.
