March 25 Sleepy as hell in the morning. Had to hurry for breakfast & then get up lecture. Went in town &

paid some bills. Letter from Blanch. I see some prospect of the surprise. She speaks with insinuations of an Easter rabbit. Rehearsed my speech with J. D.
